The Youth Athletics Ambassador programme is a space for junior members in our sport across Wales to share their thoughts and experiences with us.

The programme is an opportunity for junior members to shape our sport, open up a transparent line of communication between athletes and Welsh Athletics, and get involved with decision-making.

We want to listen to the needs and ideas of junior members, to ensure that we are providing the best experience possible, that will encourage junior members to stay active in athletics, as either an athlete, official or in a coaching capacity.

We are delighted to share that in May 2024, 14 ambassadors from across Wales joined the programme.

There are athletes from a variety of athletic disciplines, clubs, and regions across Wales who make up a diverse and representative group that reflects our Young Athlete landscape.
