Cymryd Rhan

This facility, which opened in 1998, includes a fully floodlit football pitch, a national standard athletics facility and a 400 seated stadium.

It is the home of local teams 'Connah's Quay Nomads F.C.' and 'Deeside Athletics Club' who hold all their home fixtures at the stadium and it has successfully held County, National and International events.

The facilities are available for group, club and individual bookings for events such as school sports days, football tournaments, charity and fundraising events. 

Also on the Coleg Cambria site is the North Wales Indoor Athletics Centre this facility includes:

• Six lane 60m sprint track


• Long & triple jump facility


• Pole vault and high jump facility


• Thrower's practice cage for discus, hammer and shot


• Multi-sports hall
