Description: The SSAFA 5k Road Race Series in Cardiff consists of three 5k Road Races each summer and raises money for the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association, Cardiff & The Vale Region. The Series is held under UK & Welsh Athletics rules and is a CAAC Calendar Event.
The series was founded in 1998 by respected Race Director Graham Finlayson BEM after he retired as Colour Sergeant from 2nd (V) Battalion the Royal Regiment of Wales after twenty eight years service.
