A ½ marathon starting and finishing at Gwydir car park in Llanrwst, runners will head towards Llanrychwyn along the lanes towards Llyn Gwirionydd and then use the forest footpath to head to Llyn Crafnant where they will do a loop around the lake before heading out of Crafnant and up the 1:7 famous hill and heading back to the finish.
A hilly route predominantly run on single lanes, paths, loose slate and gravel. Normal road running shoes are fine for this event.
