RACE DESCRIPTION

Cardiff 5km are delighted to again bring this unique event to Whitchurch Village, a leafy suburb of Cardiff.

Widely regarded as one of the best 5K Races in the United Kingdom, it has an atmosphere second to none, so get ready for the race of your life! 

Participants will be able to Race, Run, Jog or Walk this unique once a year 5K closed road route

Hosting the Welsh 5K Road Racing Championships, always brings together a first class field of athletes keen to sample the electric atmosphere and take on this fast, spectator lined route.

The event is a Race under the rules and regulations of Welsh Athletics , so it will be timed and official results will be posted. 

ADDITIONAL INFO

The Cardiff 5km: Race for Victory will act as a trial race for the Welsh team to feature at the Home Nations Podium 5K.

• CLUB RUNNERS
  If you are competing in the Welsh Road Running Championships you MUST wear your club vests

• REGIONAL RUNNERS
  If you are representing a region, you can wear your team vest

• ALL OTHER RUNNERS
  It would be great if you could wear the Race T-shirt to start the event, although this is not a requirement"
