Description: The Aberystwyth Charity 10k is a fast, flat race following roads and paths around the town that takes runners along the promenade, through the harbour, and around the Rheidol river's edge to finish back at the race registration. Race HQ is at the bandstand. The race starts and finishes near the bandstand on the Promenade where there are toilet facilities. Refreshments will be available adjacent to the bandstand on the day of the event. There are numerous car parks and street parking around the town. All proceeds of the race go to charity raising around £6,000 a year for local charities, with significantly larger amounts being raised by runners collecting sponsorship for their own charities. Prizes are awarded in all age categories. The Geraint & Michelle Evans Dolphin Shield is awarded to the first business team of three runners.
