London Mini Marathon

As well as The 2021 London Marathon happening on the weekend, some of our junior athletes were selected to compete in the London Mini-Marathon, see the full team list here.
- U13 Boys
Alfie Shiland was the first of the Welsh athletes to cross the line in 14th place with 08:47, with Aaron Nathan following in 16th 08:49 and William Coles coming 17th also in 08:49.
- U13 Girls
Libby Hale had a terrific run. She was the 1st Welsh athlete to cross the finish line finishing 2nd in 08:53 Millie Pierce was the 2nd Welsh athlete to cross the line finishing 20th in 09:23 and Chloe Hartley-Green finished 34th in 09:36.
- U15 Boys
Iwan Thomas had a strong fun finishing 11th in 08:12, followed by Henry Dawes in 8:17 in 19th place and Miguel Jenkins in 8:23.
- U15 Girls
Millie Gold narrowly missed out on the sub 9minute barrier as she finished in 22nd place in 9:04 and Becca Brown followed in 9:10.
- U17 Boys
Ben Hughes ran a swift 07:51 to be the first Welsh athlete to cross the finish line with Rhys Llewellyn also clocking a sub 8minute run with 07:57.
- U17 Girls
Bethan Hardman ran a strong race to finish her run in 09:06, with Sophie Knoyle following her in 09:14 and Neisha Roberts finishing in 09:20.
