I have recently retired from Gwent Police, having worked in Public Protection for 20 years, as a Detective Constable and Sergeant. During this time I investigated serious offences against children and ensured the most vulnerable members of our society were protected. I am experienced in managing dangerous offenders with multi agency partners.

In my spare time I coach my sons junior rugby team and have completed a WRU Safeguarding course as the club safeguarding officer.  I am married with 3 children, two of whom are grown up, and a busy 12 year old. I am looking forward to my new role as your safeguarding and compliance lead. 

My aim is to ensure Welsh Athletics is a safe and happy place for all.
