Diamond league, Lausanne

European Silver 1500m medalist, Jake Heyward (Cardiff) finished in 9th place in the men’s 1,500m, running a time of 3:34.99.

Mid Cheshire 5k, Cheshire

Janos Rush Vranek (Aberystwyth) placed 17th in a time of 14:47, in a race won by Adam Craig in 14:09.

BMC GP, Loughborough

In the final Grand Prix of the year David Locke (Cardiff) tan a 1:47.39 800m to take third in the Men’s A race, whilst Rhi Linington Payne recorded another personal best of 2:05.66 in the Women’s A race to take sixth.

England U15&U17 Championships, Bedford

In one of the final events of the year, some of our U15 and U17 finished off the season with a bang.

There was a gold medal and a Welsh U15 Long Jump record for Mergan Taylor (Cardiff Archers) as she sailed out to 5.61m. Jessica Lee (Carmarthen) won the U17 Girl’s Long Jump final with a best leap of 5.84m. Whilst Luca Phillips (Cardiff Archers) picked up silver in the U17 Boy’s Long Jump final with a best jump of 6.12m.

In the U15 Girl's Triple Jump, Olivia Schrimshaw (Deeside) also set a new Welsh U15 record, leaping out to 11.49m to claim first place. Olivia was also back in action over the 75m hurdles, running 11.45s to finish in second place.

Isaac Matthew Bromwich (Deeside) finished in sixth in the U15 Boy’s javelin throw, producing a best attempt of 44.89m.

In the U17 Boy’s 1,500m steeplechase, it was Tristan Tena Cumberland (Brecon) who produced a personal best of 4:28.68 to finish in second place.

Nell Desir (Cardiff Archers) continued her fantastic season, winning the U15 Girl’s 100m in a time or 12.10s, whilst Aliyah Afolabi (Cardiff Archers) finished in joint forth place in what was the closest finish of the weekend. She ran a time of 12.65s.

Thomas Williams (Wrecsam) was also on top form, taking victory in the U15 Boy’s Hammer throw with a personal best of 59.62m.

Gethin Tomos Griffith (Menai) took a convincing victory in the Boy’s U15 300m running a time of 36.21s. Iolo Grant (Cardiff Archers) was fourth in the U17 Boy’s 100m Hurdles in a time of 13:65s.

Tristan Tena Cumberland (Brecon) won the 1,500m steeplechase, running a personal best of 4:28.68, whilst there was a bronxe medal for Jack Organ (Brecon) in the U17 Boy's 800m, where he completed the race in a time of 1:56.74s. Gracie Griffiths (Pembrokshire) also took a convincing victory in the U17 Girl's 5,000m walk, winning by nealry 3 minutes in a time of 25:47.32.

Scarlett Cargill (Newport) was also on the podium, taking bronze in the U15 Girl's 75m hurdles with a time of 11.54s, whilst Evie Cooper (Neath) took home a silver medal in the U15 Girl's Hammer with a best of 44.66m.

In the U15 Boy's Shot, Owen Garrett (Bristol & West) finished third with a best of 13.90m. On a busy weekend, Owen also finished fourth in the Javelin (47.75m) and in the Discus (39.14m). Aharon Graham-Mulvaney (Cardiff) finihed second in the U17 Boy's Pole Vault, with a best clearance of 3.99m. Whereas in the U17 Girl's Pole Vault, Nyree Perry (Bristol and West) won with a best clearance of 3.32m.

Severn Bridge 10km

Arron Kearney (Bideford) won the Severn Bridge 10km in a time of 34:50, and Niki Morgan (Chepstow Harriers) in 40:46.
