WA Virtual 10K Round Up
Last weekend over 300 athletes took to the roads to take part in the Welsh Athletics Virtual 10K Challenge, raising over £600 for Mind Cymru. We were delighted to see athletes of all ages from all over Wales taking part in the event which was launched off the back of an incredibly popular 10K-specific webinar delivered by James Thie.
Nathan Jones (Cardiff AAC) was the front runner with an impressive 30:06, whilst Lauren Cooper (Parc Bryn Bach) topped the women’s standings with a time of 34:33 showing that she has been making the most of lockdown training!
