Road Relays take place across Wales as Charlie Hulson performs well at the Copenhagen Half Marathon

Welsh Road Relay Championships, Llanelli – September 15

Cardiff AC sealed a Senior race double at the 52nd Welsh Road Relay Championships on Sunday.

 

The event also hosted the Championships for masters with team victories going to Les Croupiers RC, Parc Bryn Bach RC, Pontypridd Roadents and Swansea Harriers.

 

Cardiff continued their dominance by taking the win in both U17 men and women races.

 

Maldwyn Harriers were U15 boys victors with local club Carmarthen Harriers retaining their U13 Boys crown. Cardiff took the remaining U15 and U13 Girls honours.

North Wales Road Relay Championships, Llandudno– September 15

Conditions looked a little cold up in North Wales for their Road Relay Championships yesterday as Eryri Harriers took the win in the men’s senior race and Eryri Eillio took the win in the women’s race.

Deeside also showed their dominance up North taking the wins across both U13 categories, U15G and the 15-19 categories.

Copenhagen Half Marathon, Copenhagen – September 15

North Wales runnner and Liverpool Harrier, Charlie Hulson ran over the half marathon distance over the weekend out in Copenhagen running a new personal best of 65:19 finishing 28th overall.

Carneddau Trail 12K, Carneddau  – September 15

Alun Brown took the win in the men’s race in 01:00.14 followed by Jon Barnwell of Eryri Harriers in 01:01.15.

In the women’s race, Susan Fourie took the win in 1:04.47. She was followed by Sophie Horrocks in 1:05.32.
