Time to find out more about Liz...

Favourite memory of living in Taiwan?

Hiking the great mountains of Taiwan never disappoints. Elephant Mountain being my favourite as the wildlife was just so spectacular and so are the cycle tracks.  Most weekends e cycle out of the city and into the jungle where we would usually stumble across hidden temples, little tea houses and the many fell runners, running bare foot, who would always stop and chat to us to practice their English! Paddling in the International School (where I worked for over 8 years)  Dragon Boat team during the Lunar New Year Festival was also great fun but hard work!

Hobbies?

Love to travel and have explored all corners of the Far East from Zip lining through the jungles in Thailand, cliff jumping off the coast of beautiful Taiwan, to sailing down the Mekong Delta. Being Back in Europe takes us closer to one of my favourite places which is Italy ….the history, the food, the wine - bello!

Worst food ever eaten?

From my far eastern travels is goat Sashimi in Okinawa which was very unpleasant to say the least! However, my favourite is Din Tai Fung, and luckily there,  is a branch in London, so I don’t have to go far for my food fix!
