Head of Coaching Development

UKA is seeking to appoint a new Head of Coaching Development to join the UK National Governing Body. The successful applicant will help drive the new strategy at the heart of a joint vision and plan, shared with the governing bodies of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Our purpose is to inspire more athletes and runners of all abilities and backgrounds to fulfill their potential and to have a lifelong love of the sport.


The purpose of this role is to develop a high-performing and inclusive coaching system for the UK with a clear coaching strategy to 2032. This will help enable the sport to achieve its 3 core goals set out within Athletics Unified, the UK-wide strategy for the sport.

Safeguarding Case Officer

UKA is seeking to appoint two new Safeguarding Case Officers to join the UK National Governing Body. Successful applicants will help drive the implementation of our safeguarding strategy, which is at the heart of a joint vision and plan shared with the governing bodies of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. Our purpose is to inspire more athletes and runners of all abilities and backgrounds to fulfill their potential and to have a lifelong love of the sport.


The purpose of this role is to support the UKA Lead Safeguarding Officer in managing, coordinating, and investigating safeguarding concerns and reports of abuse and poor practice to UK Athletics and the Home Country Athletics Federations.

UKA Coaching Curriculum and Content Developer

UKA is seeking to appoint a new Coaching Curriculum & Content Developer to join the UK National Governing Body. The successful applicant will help drive the new strategy at the heart of a joint vision and plan, shared with the governing bodies of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Our purpose is to inspire more athletes and runners of all abilities and backgrounds to fulfill their potential and to have a lifelong love of the sport.

The purpose of this role is to support the development and production of a new coaching learning and development curriculum to meet the aims and objectives of a new UKA coaching strategy. This will form a key part of a new high-performing and inclusive coaching system for the UK. This will help enable the sport to achieve its 3 core goals set out within Athletics Unified, the UK-wide strategy for the sport.
