Applications open for National Development Programme

Welsh Athletics is pleased to launch its updated and inclusive National Development Programme. The National Development Programme is the 2nd level of support on the Welsh Athletics performance pathway and aims to support athletes between the ages of 16 and 19 and their coaches.

More information on the programme can be found here National Development Programme (welshathletics.org). The 2021 programme will be open to Para and Non-Para athletes from all event groups in an initiative supported by Disability Sport Wales.
Athletes wishing to be part of the programme will need to have achieved one of the performance standards set out in the application pack and also complete a short application form. Applications for the 2021-22 National Development Programme will close on Monday, October 4th at 5 pm.
