As an athlete I competed at 800-5000m on the track, Cross Country and up to Half Marathon on the road.
In 1992 I won the Welsh Track 1500m title, and finished 3rd over the same distance at the Universities Championships.
In 1991 I was the North Wales Cross Country Champion
Between 1990 and 1994 I represented Wales on the track indoors and outdoors over distances from 800m to 3000m as a Senior International, and also won representative honours at Cross Country.
In recent years I have continued to be competitive representing Great Britain at Age Group Triathlon level, competing at Standard Distance, Middle Distance and Long Distance, I finished 7th in Age Group at the 2015 European Long Distance Championships, and 28th in Age Group at Standard Distance in the same year.
Aspiration as a coach: My overwhelming aspiration as a coach is to help people improve and gain the maximum amount of enjoyment out of the sport they can. For those athletes with a high level of ambition I really hope to help them on their journey to be the best that they can be.
