Libby joined the Welsh Athletics team in 2023 as Inclusion and Engagement Coordinator. Libby’s role is to develop and maintain partnerships with a range of organisations and clubs and to support data collection and curate initiatives to increase engagement and participation in underrepresented groups in athletics. Her role also includes supporting the Welsh Athletics team with Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.

Libby joined Welsh Athletics whilst finishing her PhD at Bangor University which aimed to inform the development of a standardised starting system to promote equity between D/deaf and hearing athletes in athletics. Outside of work, Libby is learning British Sign Language and loves to explore the beauty of North Wales.
