Haydn O Reilly - social secretary / vice chair (Builth & District Running Club)

Haydn O Reilly our Social Secretary and Vice Chair has worked tirelessly over the last 2 years to bring us an extensive

range of Club events virtual and face to face to keep our wonderful Builth Wells and District (BADRC) running

community entertained. In fact at times he has keep the whole of Wales and England entertained with the BADRC 15

hour virtual relay July 2020 with 60 clubs 900 runners across Wales & England! With the event exploding with interest

 on social media local and national. Even though at times we haven’t been able to meet due to restrictions he’s had us

 all pounding the pavements roads and hills quite literally taking the bull by the horns with slightly crazy quirky fitness

challenges keeping community spirit well and truly alive. He’s skilfully organised the club olympics, fancy dress events,

 charity runs to support charities such as Samaritans, Builth Community Support, local schools, club social evenings

with beer and cake, hill runs, mountain relays, pass the trainer challenges, pasta parties, club bbqs, club awards

ceremony and the 12 days of Christmas challenge.  All events open to runners walkers joggers of all abilities have

provided us with so much fun and laughter and improved fitness.  Thank you Haydn you are an absolute star!
