Bethan competes in the Commonwealth Games 10,000m Race Walk on Saturday 6th August 2022.

"Representing Wales at the 2018 Commonwealth Games ment more to my family and I than we ever imagined. Pulling on the red vest of Wales really was a sense of pride like no other! If I am lucky enough to gain the opportunity to do so once more at Birmingham it would mean the world to my family and I. Especially as this Games is on our doorstep hopefully meaning I can share the Team Wales experience with even more of my loved ones. Cymru am byth!"

Born and raised in Cardiff, Bethan still proudly represents the club and lives in the surrounding area. She attended Llanishen High School whilst growing up, and now works for Welsh Athletics in Performance Logistics. Starting off as a runner, Bethan's first athletics coach was Paul Darney. Now coached by Andi Drake, Bethan will hope to return to the 2022 Commonwealth Games and build on her 3rd place finish from the Gold Coast.
