Wrexham Marathon Festival
An event offering Half Marathon, 2 Mile and Marathon routes.
Starting and finishing in Wrexham town centre, there’s sure to be a good crowd cheering you on your way and welcoming you over the finish line for what will be a fast course for all three races with a few ups and downs along the way, the brand new routes for 2018 showed very popular, with many achieving personal bests!
With 3 distances to choose from (Half Marathon, 20 Miler, Full Marathon) there is something for everyone and great training races towards a spring marathon.
The full marathon and 20 mile race will start off at 9am with the half marathon starting at 10:30am, routes will pass each other along Oak Road and fully meet up on Redwither / Erlas Lane running the remaining 5 miles together, this is fantastic as the half marathon runners can support the full marathon & 20 mile runners. Routes are run on paths/pavements and country lanes. All routes have great PB potential.
