Races will use a winding multi-lap circuit which is great for spectators.  Most event details will remain unchanged from the 2023 edition but underfoot conditions will be far better this year.

Race HQ including the registration function will be based at the Red Welsh Athletics Marquee near the start area as indicated on the course map.

Numbers for the Inter-Regional Championships have been sent to regional team managers in advance.

All numbers must be collected no later than 40 mins before the race start time.

The Venue
Newtown has been selected because of it's central position within Wales. The venue has been used in the past to host fixtures in the North Wales Cross Country League.

The site has been generously provided to us by Open Newtown who operate the park and the nearby Hafan Yr Afon centre.

Catering is available at the Hafan Yr Afon Visitor Centre in the car park, across the main river Bridge from the course. There are many other options available nearby in the Town Centre.

Toilets are available in the main car park (Back Lane Car Park), near Dolerw Park.

Welsh Athletics will be retailing at the event, near the Registration area.

Regional teams may erect tents near the registration marquee.
