North Wales Regional Outdoor Track & Field Championships 2024
Saturday 11th MAY
LOCATION: Deeside, Coleg Cambria
EVENT INFORMATION Final Timetable
Masters will compete in Senior events using appropriate equipment.
(U11's not eligible for Regional Championships therefore strictly no u11's entries).
NORTH WALES Eligibility
1. Birth: born within the area covered by N.W.R.A.C.
2. Residence: Continuous current residence within the area covered by N.W.R.A.C. for at least 9 months.
3. Retention: An athlete may retain his/her existing qualification to represent N. Wales and compete in the N. Wales Regional Championship, provided that he/she has not represented another Region or County, nor competed in a different Regional or County Championship in the same year of competition.
4.Where an athlete competes for a club not based in Wales but does qualify on one of the above three criteria.
THERE WILL BE NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY
Trials in field events. Under 13 and Under 15 athletes will be allowed 3 trials in the jumps and throws. All older age groups will be allowed 4 trials in the long and triple jumps and throws, with 2 warm up trials.
Timetable will be sent out w/c 6th May
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
ALL athletes must register for all their first events 90 minutes before the first event start.
ALL start lists will be produced around 45-60 minutes before the event starts.
Athletes need to report to the track events and the start team no less than 10 minutes before the start time
All field athletes need to report 30 minutes before start time for warm up trials.
if you have an event cross over of reporting times please speak with Amy at your event site to let the officials notify others.
Field Trials all U11,U13 & U15 have 3 trials + 2 warm up, U17,U20 & Senior have 4 + 2 warm up.
presentations will be made through the day, please listen out for announcements.
For the meeting to be successful, we will be looking for as many volunteers as possible to help out. If you can support with volunteering for a few hours or all day please email Amy Edwards (North Wales Competition Officer).
North Wales Summer T&F Officiating Taster Morning
This taster morning is a perfect opportunity for anyone interested in learning about field, timekeeping or photo finish officiating as the morning will involve guidance by a qualified & expereinced official with the opportunity to put learning into practise. This taster morning is open to parents/guardians, family members, club members, volunteers, students and anyone interested in learning more about officiating.
