The Cilcain Mountain Race on Bank Holiday Monday 26th August is this year's Welsh (Short) Senior Mountain Running Championships, Welsh Inter-Regional Mountain Running Championships, and North Wales Regional Championships
- Distance/Height: 7.4km/4.6miles - 375m/1230ft
- Corse Records: Male - Lloyd Taggart 31:28 - 2013
- Female - Caitlin Price 36:52 - 2015
Toilets available in Church or on Showground. Water available at Start/Finish. Food/drink available on Showground from Noon onwards. Likely a finish beer will be available post race. With regard to the Welsh Athletics Senior (Short) Mountain Running Champs, the first two male and first female eligible Welsh finisher will be selected for the Trofeo Vanoni Relays event in Italy in October.
