Race Walking Development Opportunity

Athletes, coaches and officials are invited to take part in/support a judged race walk time trial on Saturday March 12th at Marine Park, Swansea led by Martin Bell (Race Walk Coach and Official).
The time trial will start at 10am with athletes having a choice of distances between 1km to 5km. U13s will be restricted to distances of 1km or 2km and U15s 1km, 2km or 3km.
A group warm up will precede the time-trial which will provide athletes and coaches with the opportunity to undertake and be given feedback on a RAMP warm up and race walk specific drills
The time trial also provides a valuable opportunity for officials to gain experience of race walk judging. Martin will support a post-time-trial debrief for any officials attending.
Coffee and cake will follow the event in a nearby café!
