The Communities of Practice is a programme of short sessions that focus on particular areas of officiating and cover a wide range of topics across different disciplines. The sessions allow for continuous and professional development (CPD) for officials across different disciplines and levels.
Race Walking (29 March 7-8pm): From race walking judges to officials who wish to diversify into another discipline, this session will include information, hints, and tips about the different roles of a race walking team, what each role involves and what is required for race walking races. This session will provide the knowledge, awareness, and support about the varying roles within a race walking team at all levels within grassroots officiating. Presenters: Ian Richards, Noel Carmody and Steve Taylor.
