Expression of interest link 

This is a perfect opportunity for those new to officiating as the day will involve practical officiating experience in a relaxed environment. During the morning there will be a choice of taster sessions whilst your children partake in a series of fun athletics sessions. In the afternoon there will be a fun junior competition (ages 9 -12), giving your children the chance to take part and you the chance to shadow experienced officials and to practice your newly gained officating skills. This day is open to parents, volunteers, students and anyone interested in learning more about officiating.

Start time: 10am

Location: Ron Jones Stadium, Aberdare

Timetable: 

10:00 – 13:00 split into small groups to learn about different disciplines

13:00 – 13:30 Lunch break (refreshments available) 

13:30 – 15:30 fun competition – put the morning learning into practise
