Event Start: 14/04/2025 18:45
Event Ends: 14/04/2025 19:45

Following the success of the Officials Communities of Practice (CoP) sessions in previous years, we are pleased to announce the next session is scheduled for March as part of the wider series of officials education webinars, facilitated by the Home Country Athletics Federations (HCAFs – Athletics Northern Ireland, England Athletics, Scottish Athletics & Welsh Athletics)

The CoP sessions are designed to be short sessions that focus on particular areas of officiating and cover a wide range of topics across different disciplines. All the sessions allow for continuous and professional development (CPD) for Officials across different disciplines and levels. If there are any topic areas you think the Home Country Athletics Federations should cover, please do not hesitate to contact officials@welshathletics.org

Session outline

I am not sure what and how I record things within my record of experience, to progress to the next level?

This session will cover all aspects of the record of experience for officials – including the importance of updating and submitting your record of experience, recording the duties/roles officials you fulfil at meetings (especially relevant to any official wishing to progress) and provide clarity and guidance on how to complete and structure comments within the ‘what did I learn’ section (applicable for officials progressing to level 3).
