Consultation on the membership of UK Athletics

Welsh Athletics will join the other Home Countries in consulting its clubs on the future membership of UK Athletics. Each club will be asked to complete a survey outlining its views on the future membership, these results will be compiled and will help inform the Welsh Athletics Board’s position – this, in turn, will be communicated to UK Athletics in mid-May.

outlines the five options being considered, along with the options currently preferred by the Board of Welsh Athletics.
As the corporate members of Welsh Athletics, the consultation document is being sent to each affiliated club, however, should any volunteer who operates in the sport wishes to express a view on the matter, then they are asked to email their thoughts directly to the CEO James Williams – james.williams@welshathletics.org.
Welsh Athletics will also facilitate a webinar to discuss the options and enable any views to be shared by the membership – this will take place on the 25th of March, and information will appear on the events page of the website.
The consultation period will last for a period of 5 weeks ending on the 16th of April
