We are are thrilled to announce we will be extending our exclusive partnership deal with Ace Feet in Motion and Orthotix.

The renewed partnerships will allow funded Welsh athletes to benefit from expert clinical services, orthotic therapy and specialist sports medicine for the duration of the athletics calendar.

ACE will work closely with our medical team at Welsh Athletics and a referral pathway will be in place to allow our athletes to use their clinical facility in Cardiff. This facility is equipped with a 20m running track with dynamic pressure plates, a treadmill, rehab centre and shockwave therapy. ACE also manufacture orthoses at their facility allowing an extremely quick turnaround if insoles/orthotics are needed by the athletes.

In addition our medical team will now be able to refer any athletes requiring specialist orthotic bracing to the new Orthotix clinical facility, run by Consultant Orthotist & Clinical Director – Chris Law.

Adam Rattenberry MSc PgC MCSP HCPC, Lead Performance Physiotherapist & Athlete Services Manager at Welsh Athletics commented:

“Ace Feet in Motion and Orthotix have been, and continue to be a valuable partner to our athlete support team at Welsh Athletics. We have worked together since 2015 and frequently use their services to help our supported athletes, whether it be their gait analysis, orthoses, footwear modification service or sports and orthopaedic bracing. Their friendly customer service and extensive knowledge of sports injuries, make them an ideal partner as we look towards this summers Commonwealth Games and beyond.”

Managing Director at Orthotix, Hayley Huntley says:

“I’m delighted to extend our agreement so we can continue to play our small part in assisting the fantastic medical team at Welsh Athletics. They do a great job ensuring that the most promising athletes from across Wales remain fit and healthy to compete at the highest level in their chosen events.”
