WSAA – SIAB Track & Field International

The weekend of Saturday, September 25th. sees the highlight of the WSAA summer programme with the Schools International Athletic Board’s Track & Field International, this year hosted by English Schools at Derby.
Some athletes had been pre-selected as event winners at the WSAA SIAB Trial held on July 3rd. at Brecon, the remainder gained selection through Power of 10 performances across the summer after the WSAA programme of events was cancelled for a second successive year.
Selectors have chosen a team of 67 athletes (35 girls and 32 boys) from across Wales.
The team will be supported by an experienced management team, led by Welsh Schools International Secretary, Zane Maynard (Morriston Comprehensive).
- *The team will meet up at the Stadium at 9:30 am on the morning of the event*
Congratulations also go to Frank Morgan (Ysgol Bro Myrddin, Dyfed) and Ellie-Mae Wainwright (Bassaleg, South East Wales) who have the additional honour of selection as Team Captains.
