The 2024 Welsh Athletics Annual General Meeting took place on Saturday in Cardiff (with a virtual link enabling members from across Wales to be part of the meeting).

A key decision agreed on Saturday saw a change to the club affiliation process, with the flat club fee being replaced by a proportionate approach.

Each club will now pay £100 (down from £150 last year), plus a contribution of £1 per member for each club. This change has been developed by a group of clubs following feedback at last year's meeting.

Another key change was the decision to merge the Service and National Awards panels, to create an Awards and Heritage panel.

Graham Finlayson was re-elected as President of Welsh Athletics for another two year term, and in an effort to ensure the award panel merger is as smooth as possible, Ian Griffiths has been re-elected as Vice President for one more year following him reaching the end of his maximum term in office.

Welsh Athletics thanks all the members who attended and contributed to the meeting on Saturday.
