California once again provided the perfect weather for an evening of track running, as Jenny Nesbitt (Cardiff) and Cari Hughes (Cardiff) both competed in the 5,000m.
Jenny ran a new personal best of 15:17.3 to secure another Commonwealth Games standard in the event, whilst Cari Clocked a time of 16:18.3.

NAL, Cardiff, UK
The NAL returned for the first time this year, with Cardiff being the hosts of the first fixture. Result highlights include:
- Caryl Granville (Swansea) ran a seasons best of 58.68 in the 400m Hurdles to come 2nd.
- Moli Lyons (Cardiff) won the 3000m in a time of 9:59.11.
- Ieuan Thomas (Cardiff) won the steeplechase in a time of 8:51.28, which was a seasons best.
- Rebecca Champman (Cardiff) won the long jump with a jump of 6.04m.
- Rhiannon Linington Price (Cardiff) stepped up in distance to the 800m to place 2nd in 2:11.41.
- Jac Palmer (Cardiff) threw 67.59m in the Hammer to place second.
- Jeremiah Azu (Cardiff) recorded a time of 10.46s to win the mens 100m.
- Hannah Brier (Swansea) placed 1st in the womens 100m in a time of 11.64s and 1st in the 200m in a time of 23.84.

Welsh Athletics Specifc Endurance Event, Cardiff, UK
A specific endurance event was held in Cardiff, with results including:
- 16:10.07 victory for Jess Gibbon in the Womens 5000m
- 4:04.67 victory for Harry Davis in the Mens 1500m
- 1:55.56 victory for Oliver Capps and 2:22.37 victory for Ceri Griffiths in the womens event
