England Athletics U17 & U15 Combined Events Championships

Jessica Lee (Carmarthen) was victorious in the U17 girls Heptathlon, scoring 4656 points, whilst Sophie Lisk (Cardiff Archers) came third with a total score of 4500 points. Nia Powell (Cardiff Archers) finished 6th with a score of 4276.

In the men's U17 decathlon, it was Aharon Graham Mulvaney (Cardiff) who placed 7th with a score of 4581, setting a new personal best in the pole vault, leaping 3.90m, with Osian Parry (Cardiff Archers) one place behind in 8th, scoring 4577 points.

Megan Matilda Taylor (Cardiff Archers) placed 6th overall, with a score of 3031 in the U15 girls Hexathlon, whilst Menna Grant (Cardiff Archers) finished in 11th place scoring 2673 points.

In the U15 boys Octathlon, Luca Phillips (Cardiff Archers) scored 3508 points to finish on the podium in third place.


BMC Regional Races, Loughborough

Morgan James (Cardiff) ran a personal best of 1:55.81 in the men’s 800m B race to take the victory, whilst Jack Organ (Brecon) placed 3rd, also running a personal best of 1:57.18.

Over 1,500m, Michael Ward (Cardiff) placed 2nd in the men’s A race , running a seasons best of 3:45.59. In the B race, Tristan Cumberland (Brecon) ran a personal best of 4:08.90 to place 7th.

It was a seasons best for Ella Semple (Cardiff) who placed 4th in the women’s 1,500m running a time of 4:39.91.

World Youth Games, Gothenburg

At the World Youth Games, Hannah Kinane (Swansea) had the races of her lifetime, setting new personal bests in the 800m and 400m to take victory in both, running times of 2:11.24 and 58.11s.


Meeting Internacional Ciudad de Albacete, Spain

Dewi Hammond (Cardiff) won a wind assisted men’s 100m in a time of 10.22s, setting a new personal best.


IX GP Diputación de Castellón – VI Memorial JA Cansino - World Athletics Continental Tour - Challenger, Spain

Dewi Hammond (Cardiff) placed 7th over the 200m distance, recording a time of 21.68s.


Meeting International de Marseille - World Athletics Continental Tour Challenger, Marseille

Piers Copeland (Pontypridd) ran 3:41.75 to finish 9th in the men’s 1,500m.


Watford Open, Watford

Leon Greenwood (Cardiff) ran a seasons best of 21.78 in the men's 200m.

Rhiannon Linington-Payne (Cardiff) ran a new personal best of 2:08.40 in the 800m.
