Welsh Athletics are delighted to announce the team selected to compete for Welsh Schools in the Schools International Athletics Board (SIAB) cross country competition later this month in Falkirk. 

Zane Maynard (Team Lead and Safeguarding Lead) shared:

The WSAA is pleased to announce the following teams to represent us at the 2025 SIAB Cross Country International on the weekend of 22 of March 2025. Four extremely strong teams have been picked alongside Two relays team all in the hunt for Individual  and team medals. A wealth of experienced Internationals compliments some younger pupils who will make the journey to Falkirk.

 

The pupils will be supported by an experienced management team with plenty of SIAB appearances between them helping to allow all athletes the best chance to shine over the weekend.

 

We would also like to put in writing the exciting news about our SIAB captains. Pleased to say that has Millie Pierce has accepted to captain the girls team, and Will Chalk has accepted the boys captaincy.

 

The Assocation would also like to thank all teachers, coaches and school regions alongside Welsh Athletics for allowing the group the opportunity to compete for Wales in this fantastic annual event.
