Welsh Athletics are delighted to announce the team of U16 and U18 athletes who have been chosen to compete for Wales on Saturday 16 November 2024 in Glasgow. This will be an exciting and invaluable experience for those athletes to compete against each of the other home nations and gain insight to the determinants of their performance whilst building relationships and friendships within the sport.

Rhys Williams (National Talent Development of Sprints/Jumps/Combined Events) said:

We are delighted to be sending a strong team to the Schools Combined Events Competition in Glasgow. The team will look to build on their performances last year of three podium team finishes. We have some great developing athletes coming through in this event group and this competition allows for those athletes to further develop in this competition environment. The very best of luck to all our Welsh athletes taking part.
