Welsh Athletics are delighted to announce Adam Barber has been selected to compete for Wales in the Pulford 10K on 23 of March, 2025.

Massive congratulations to Adam Barber on being selected for the Welsh U23 team to compete in the Pulford 10km. With Pulford 10km acting as the trial race for the British team for the European Road Running Championships, this will be a very high quality and extremely fast race.

 

We have set challenging qualification criteria for our Welsh U23 and U20 road vests. This is to challenge athletes to reach the standard to be competitive in the highest quality British road races. Adam, in addition to the five athletes selected for the Welsh U20 team for Armagh, have shown that Welsh junior age group athletes can reach these levels. I look forward to seeing how Adam competes in Pulford this year.

 

I also challenge the many talented junior athletes we have in Wales, who have the capability of running at this level, to reach the standards set to qualify for these teams in future years.
