Team Announcement: Korzeniowski Warsaw Race Walking Cup

Congratulations to the 3 athletes selected to represent Wales at the 2nd Korzeniowski Warsaw Race Walking Cup in Warsaw, Poland on Sunday 23rd April 2023. This competition is part of the World Race Walking Tour.
Steve Mitchell, Welsh Athletics National Talent Development Coordinator - Endurance, added:
We are delighted to be sending a team of talented Welsh walkers to the Korzeniowski Warsaw Race Walking Cup to compete against some of the very best walkers in Europe. Heather Lewis and Bethan Davies, who both finished in the top 6 in the Birmingham Commonwealth Games, will be competing in the 20km race. Talented junior Gracie Griffiths, who finished 3rd in the British Senior Indoor Championships earlier this year, will be competing abroad for the first time when she races in the junior 10km race.
