Team Announcement - England Athletics U20 & Para U23 International 2024

We are pleased to announce the Welsh Representative Team selected for the England Athletics U20 & Para U23 International in Windsor on August 17 2024. For the competition the Welsh Representative Team will take on the other Home Nations, where some of the UK’s brightest talents will go head-to-head. Overseeing the Welsh Team will be Welsh Athletics staff members Neil Taylor (Para Athletics Coordinator) and Rhys Williams (Pathway Lead and Jumps/Combined Events/Sprints Lead).

Our aim for this fixture is to select the best development team possible to represent Wales at this competition. With a focus on our U20 and developing athletes in both fixtures, this provides ample opportunity for those athletes to gain experience in their aim to progress further up our pathway and on to senior competitions in the near future.

I am delighted to be selected to represent Wales, it is always an honour to run with a Welsh vest. I’m excited to gain experience at U20 level.
