Matt is a Welsh professional skateboarder, stunt performer, and celebrity chef. He regularly appeared on Dirty Sanchez, Wrecked, and Balls of Steel. In 2019, he hosted the first BBC vegan cookery show, Dirty Vegan. He authored two cookbooks: Dirty Vegan and Dirty Vegan: Another Bite.

After a lively start to his life in the limelight, Matt was faced with some of the negative aspects of celebrity and the mental health challenges that can often follow. Matt has since gone on to become an accomplished ultra-endurance athlete in his own right. Some of his key achievements include cycling John O'Groats to Land's End, running John O'Groats to Land's End, swimming Britain's biggest lake - Lake Windamere, completing 30 x Half Ironmans in 30-days and completing 10 x full Ironmans in 10-days.

Matt will talk through the early years as competitive skateboarder, part of Dirty Sanchez, his epiphany moment when watching the Cowspiracy  documentary and how triathlon saved his life, beautifully illustrated through his BBC documentary ''Wildman got Ironman''

As part of your ticket price you will have the opportunity to join a run with Matt himself on the evening of the 12th. It will be a 5km run around Bute Park, led by qualified Welsh Athletics run leaders.

The run is NOT compulsory by any means, but It's a unique opportunity to join Matt doing something we all enjoy so much.

We will also be raising money for charity on the night for Big Moose Charity.
