Inter-Regional and Inter-Schools Cross Country to become Joint Fixture

Welsh Athletics and the Welsh Schools Athletic Association are proud to announce that the Welsh Inter-Regional Cross Country Championships and the Welsh Inter-Schools Championships will be a joint fixture this year, taking place in in Brecon on Saturday 16th November 2019.
National Talent Development Co-ordinator for Endurance, Liz Davies said “This is a really positive step for both organisations. The move to combine both the Welsh Inter-regional and the Inter-school championships will strengthen and add depth to both events. I want to say thank you to both Welsh Athletics and the Welsh Schools Athletic Association for their hard work in organising and bringing these two competitions together.”
The joining of the two fixtures to make one larger championship event will make the event more exciting and provide a strong level of competition for all runners taking part.
