Welsh athletes Hollie Arnold (David Turner) and Sabrina Fortune (Ian Robinson) have been nominated for BBC Wales Sports Personality of the Year. This award is voted for by the public and voting is open between Monday 2nd December and Sunday 8th December. The winner will then be revealed in the Wales Sport Awards at the Celtic Manor Resort, Newport, on Tuesday, 10 December 2019.

Last month, Hollie Arnold joined teammate Aled Davies in the exclusive club of para-athletes who have won four consecutive World titles. She gained her fourth consecutive world F46 javelin title last month in Dubai.

In Dubai, Arnold took gold and did so by adding 30cm to her personal best. Her 44.73m throw, which came in round 3, was both a new Championship and European record.

Arnold is also the reigning Paralympic, World, European and Commonwealth champion.

In 2018, Sabrina Fortune won the European F20 shot put gold with a world-leading throw and then went better again this year throwing even further and winning the World title in too.

Fortune also won a bronze medal at the Paralympic Games in Rio.

Both athletes have had incredible seasons and the votes are sure to be close. See below how and when you can cast your vote!
