Full GB & NI squad announced for the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships in Spain.
UK Athletics have announced the U20, Classic and Uphill Mountain athletes who will complete the full Great Britain and Northern Ireland (GB & NI) squad for the World Mountain and Trail Championships in Spain in September.
The 24 athletes selected today will comprise the entire team, following the selection of the long and short trail teams earlier this summer. This is the third combined Mountain and Trail Running Championships, where athletes from around the world compete in Long and Short Trail Ultra-distance, Classic Mountain distance, and Uphill-only events.
Congratulations to Eden O'Dea (Deeside AAC) on her selection.
The team for these Championships have been selected with the aim to achieve a top 10 individual finish or a top five team ranking.
