Charlotte Arter is heading to The Commonwealth Games

Team Wales have announced today, Charlotte Arter will be joining the team heading to the Commonwealth Games this summer where she'll compete in the 10,000m at Alexander Stadium.
Charlotte currently holds the Welsh record for 5k, 10k and half marathon. But the former British 10,000m Champion is probably best known for becoming the world’s fastest female to complete a parkrun!
Arter said:
"I'm absolutely delighted to be selected for my first Commonwealth Games. It's something I've been working so hard for the last couple years, so to finally say I'm going is a really proud moment and I can't wait to represent Team Wales and give it my all!"
