14 clubs benefit from grant funding

The Welsh Athletics Club Modernisation and Development Fund announced earlier in the year has been decided and a total of 13 projects are set to benefit from the fund. Clubs, Regions and School Districts that submitted project have all been supported and this will provide a significant boost to development activities taking place across the country. 

 

"This is great for grassroots athletics in Wales with almost £20,000 being put towards significant. It is good that we received applications from all over Wales and also refreshing to see clubs that are progressive and forward thinking in their approach to their long-term future and development.

Welsh Athletics would also like to thank the General Council and members of the grant funding panel for their continued support and commitment.

  • Cardiff & Vale Schools District Athletics Association
  • Carmarthen Harriers
  • East Wales Regional Athletics Council
  • Eryri Schools Athletics Association
  • Maldwyn Harriers
  • Menai Track and Field
  • Neath Harriers
  • Newport Harriers AC
  • Rhymney Valley AC
  • Run4All Neath
