Cardiff 10k

Dewi Griffiths of Swansea Harriers and Aldershot, Farnham & District’s Lily Partridge took Cardiff 10k titles on Sunday.

The wet weather was not able to dampen spirits as a record 6,000 runners contested the 32nd edition of the race.

Griffiths claimed his first victory at the iconic road race, slipping under the 29 minute mark for the second time in his career despite the damp conditions.

The Cardiff 10k is Wales' largest 10km Road Race and the second largest Road Race in Wales.

The event has a history of bringing many of the UK's top athletes to  the Welsh Capital.
