Helena Tipping Wrexham 10k 2023
DATE: SUNDAY 23RD JULY
LOCATION: WREXHAM INDUSTRIAL ESTATE
The 2023 race will host the fourth fixture in the 2023 Welsh 10km Road Race Series.
Takes place on a super quick course on the outskirts of Wrexham, taking competitors towards the rural border with Cheshire. This race is staged in memory of former Wrexham AAC member Helena Tipping and since 2019 has been the home of the North Wales 10k road running championships. With a new and even faster course introduced in 2021 this race is becoming a must do for all runners chasing a 10k pb. Due to the increased popularity of this race we introduced a road closure in 2021.
The first 200 entries will be just £12/£10 rising to £21/£19.
There is plenty of free parking nearby as well as a key drop at Race HQ.
There are cash prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd open male and female (£100, £50 & £25). Prizes for 1st place in Vet Categories and team prize for 1st Male and Female Teams.
There will be a drink station at the 5km point with plenty of food, refreshments and goodies at the finish line as well as the special edition bespoke medal. Entrants must be 15 and over on race day.
