British and Irish Masters Cross Country International - Singleton Park, Swansea - Saturday 17th November
Wales took home four individual medals and four team medals at the British and Irish Masters Cross Country International in Swansea on Saturday afternoon. On his home course, Swansea's Phil Matthews claimed silver in the Men's race (M35), finishing behind Northern Ireland's Mark Mckinstry. Meanwhile, Alan Davies took victory for Wales in the M65 category, clocking 22:35 over the 6k course. Emyr Davies claimed silver for Wales in the M75 race, whilst Christine Birch took bronze in the W70 category.
In the team races, Wales took gold in the M75 category (Emyr Davies, Brian Gough, Peter Moody, Barrie Roberts). There were silver medals for the M40 team (James Thie, Stephen Skates, Simon Lewis, Tegid Jones, Dave Bennett, Martin Green) and M65 team (Alan Davies, Robert Evans, George Nixon, Mike Murphy), whilst the M70 team (Paul Allen, Richard Bowen, Gareth Hugghes, Dic Evans) took bronze.
The overall results saw Wales' men finish 3rd and Wales' women finish 4th.

Brighton 10k - Sunday 18th November
Brighton's Beth Kidger took victory on home turf at the Brighton 10k on Sunday as she clocked 34:35 to win comprehensively ahead of Liz Davies.
Conwy Half Marathon - Sunday 18th November
Gwyn Owen and Rachel Parker (Mercia Fell) were victorious at the Conwy Half Marathon on Sunday. Owen won the men's race with a time of 1:15:28, whilst Parker clocked 1:25:04 to win the women's race.
NCAA D1 Cross Country Championships - Madison, Wisconsin - Saturday 17th November
Michael Ward (Cardiff / Bradley University) finished 106th at the NCAA D1 Cross Country Championships in Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon.
NAIA Cross Country Championships - Cedar Rapids, Iowa - Friday 16th November
Emily Kearney (Wirral / SCAD Atlanta) finished 2nd at the NAIA Cross Country Chanpionships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Friday afternoon.
Llanelli Coast parkrun - Saturday 17th November
Dewi Griffiths (Swansea Harriers) continued his preparations for the European Cross Country Trials next weekend as he clocked 14:12 to set a new course record at the Llanelli Coast parkrun on Saturday morning.
