The 2018 Cardiff Cross Challenge takes place on Saturday 13th October, and is pleased to be launching a brand new website ahead of this year's event.
The Cardiff Cross Challenge will form the first fixture in the 2018/19 British Athletics Cross Challenge Series.
The event has previously welcomed many, if not most of the top British endurance runners including a large number of British Champions such as; Frank Tickner, Peter Riley, Andy Vernon, Louise Damen, Jess Judd and Dewi Griffiths.
In addition, it has hosted several European Cross Country Champions including; Hayley Yelling, Charlotte Purdue and Gemma Steel.
The season opener will provide a great opportunity to face the best British athletes ahead of the European Trials at Liverpool in November and in 2018 will also incorporate an International field of athletes as the fixture continues to grow
The 2018 event takes place on Saturday 13th October in Llandaff Fields, just north of the City Centre, and alongside the River Taff. All races are fully marshalled, and the course is marked to national standards.
This years Cardiff Cross Challenge includes the first fixture of the Gwent League with the full range of age category races available for males & females.
