Dewi Griffiths will hope that experience and his recent improvement in form will lead him to medals at the Spar Europen Cross Country Championships in Samorin on Sunday.

The Swansea Harrier will lead a record number of six Welsh athletes at the Championships in the Slovakian City. The event itself has also attracted record entries of 576 athletes from 37 countries.
Cari Hughes (Swansea Harriers) will feature in the junior women's race after booking her place with a third place finish at the trial in Liverpool.
She began her international career in January at the Great Edinburgh Cross Country International and will now have medals on her mind this weekend.

Welsh Champion Matthew Willis (Wrexham AAC) will now make his Great Britain & Northern Ireland Team debut. Jake Heyward (Cardiff AAC) is the European Junior Champion at 1500m and will join Willis in the junior men's team.
The event will host a mixed relay for the first time and the Great Britain & Ireland Team will contain two Welsh talents.
Melissa Courtney (Shaftesbury Barnet) and Tom Marshall (Cardiff AAC) will be joined in their team by Cameron Boyek (Shildon) and Sarah McDonald (Birchfield Harriers). Their event includes a first leg of around 1800m and then three of roughly 1500m each.
All the action will be streamed live on the European Athletics website from 7:45am UK time. There will also be coverage on the BBC Red Button, with highlights on BBC Two.
