UK Athletics have produced a short series of risk assessments videos to provide some guidance and help facility operators maintain track and field facilities and understand the Health & Safety risks that need to be assessed on a regular basis.
This guidance will be of benefit not only to track managers, operators and providers but also to officials and club coaches who are operating in facilities on a regular basis.
The ‘quick guide’ videos address how to look after / maintain particular areas of a Track &Field facility and currently cover the following events / areas; High Jump, Pole Vault, Throws Cage and Horizontal Jumps.
