The race starts at 19:00 prompt on the road outside Llanmadoc Village Hall. After a short section of road, the race heads out on the beach to Whitford Point lighthouse, returning along a forest trail to an uphill finish. The course is a challenging 5.7 - 5.9 miles (depending on route taken on beach) and is unsuitable for wheelchair competitors or runners under 18 year-old. Post-race refreshments are available in the village hall where goody bags and prizes will be presented.
This is the 21st running of one the most picturesque and challenging races the Gower has to offer. We strive to promote a friendly atmosphere that welcomes and encourages runners of all abilities.
